Deborah Hahn

MMFT, LMFT-A

Deborah sees clients at the Spartanburg location.

Deborah is passionate about helping people rediscover who they are—not in spite of trauma, but through it. She believes that even in suffering, there is room for meaning, transformation, and deeper connection to self.

A trauma-informed marriage and family therapist, Deborah primarily works with adults in individual therapy, while also widening the lens to include relational or systemic dynamics when needed. Her approach is warm, relational, and grounded in insight, integrity, and a deep respect for each person’s lived experience.

As someone who integrates her faith in her own life, Deborah welcomes clients from all backgrounds—whether rooted in belief, questioning, or recovering from spiritual harm. Her military service and varied clinical experience have shaped her commitment to walk alongside those navigating complexity with resilience and grace.

When she’s not doing therapy, Deborah enjoys quiet mornings, outdoor walks, deep conversation, and working on home projects. She’s married, licensed to foster, and mom to two very enthusiastic dogs.

“If there is meaning in life at all, then there must be meaning in suffering.”
