Unmoored Counseling Collective LLC is growing and looking for a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Independent Social Worker (LISW-CP).

The candidate should have experience in therapies focused on treatment for trauma related disorders and how it affects the individual, couple and family. 

We will evaluate and hire candidates based on the following minimum qualifications:

  • Comfortable in the use of electronic devices (MacBooks, iPhones) & online software

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Confident and secure enough to respond openly, not defensively, to feedback

  • Ability to be non-judgmental and accepting

  • Demonstrates an understanding of and values empathy as a cornerstone of counseling

  • Problem solving skills

  • Interpersonal and rapport-building skills

  • Adaptability

  • High level of self-awareness and willingness to learn/change

  • High level of social-awareness and multi-cultural competency

  • Conscientious and respectful of authority

  • Humble, patient, & kind

  • Must focus on their own physical, mental, & emotional health and reflect that in their daily lives


Preferred qualifications:

  • Incorporates a psychodynamic perspective to address the root causes of patients' issues, and is interested in working with patients with trauma backgrounds and suffering from trauma related disorders

  • Experience in working with Dissociative disorders, PNES, conversion Disorder.

  • Has knowledge of the Nervous System, Polyvagal Theory, Somatic Therapeutic Approaches, Dissociative Structural Model

  • Has established clientele

  • Has an established referral network

  • Has attended counseling to work through their own underlying issues and knows what it's like on the other side of the room

Pay

Compensation is commission/percentage-based, fee-for-service, and paid out weekly. You are paid a percentage of the total income you brought into the practice the week before. 

Salary range provided is an estimate (based on 20 sessions per week w/4 weeks vacation), and is dependent on services counselor provides. (Around $81,800 annual)
