Emily Vakaryuk is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) who works with individuals navigating challenges in their emotions, relationships, and sense of self. Many of her clients are impacted by past experiences or family dynamics that affect how they show up in their daily lives.
Emily brings a thoughtful and intuitive presence to her work, taking a holistic approach that considers mind, body, and relational experiences. She has a strong focus on trauma, family systems, and early developmental influences, helping clients better understand emotional responses and relational patterns while building greater self-awareness and connection.
She incorporates trauma-informed approaches, EMDR, and tools like the Safe and Sound Protocol to support nervous system regulation and emotional stability. She also integrates creative approaches, including the use of art for expression and processing. Outside of counseling, she enjoys painting, good food, and being outdoors with her husband and their two black labs.
