Jon received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology where he practiced as an early intervention specialist, specializing in working with children specifically infants and toddlers. Since his time in grad school, he has expanded his age range to include older age ranges up to early adolescent years. He is passionate about continuing to grow his knowledge and experience with kids as he pursues his Registered Play Therapist license. 

Since receiving a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Converse University, he discovered what therapy really is. It is a place where people can feel free and safe to explore themselves and discover who their best selves are. He believes life can improve by learning how we view ourselves and how others view us. Having a space that encourages authenticity and safety, people are given the opportunity to look at themselves without the pressures of society and the norms it imposes. He values compassion and empathy above all else and believes each person’s journey is unique and cannot be rushed. Using curiosity, he walks alongside his clients encouraging introspection and being present. Apart from his expertise with his younger clientele, he is eager to see anyone who wants to start their healing journey 

Jon enjoys doing pottery, golfing (regular and disc), volleyball, and connecting with his friends through genuine conversation and shared interests.
