Lara earned her bachelor’s degree from Wofford College and her master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Converse College.
Lara is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate who is passionate about supporting children and their families. She works with children experiencing big emotions and behavioral challenges, including anxiety, frequent meltdowns, and strong-willed behaviors. Lara helps children build emotional awareness, strengthen regulation skills, and express their needs more effectively while fostering self-acceptance and reducing shame.
Her approach is play-based and attachment-focused, with an emphasis on helping minimize the impact of trauma and emotional challenges as children grow. Lara also works closely with caregivers to strengthen the parent-child relationship, better understand children’s behaviors, and feel more confident supporting them at home.
