Lizbeth Graffeo

MA, LPC-S, CCPT-II

Lizbeth sees clients at the Spartanburg and Greenville locations.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC‑S), National Certified Counselor (NCC), Certified Clinical Trauma Professional II (CCTP‑II), and hold a Master of Arts (MA) in counseling. I am EMDR Certified and Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) Certified, with additional advanced training in Polyvagal Theory, somatic‑based approaches, somatic embodiment, and sensorimotor‑informed work. My clinical practice is grounded in a trauma‑focused, attachment‑informed, and nervous‑system‑aware framework that prioritizes safety, stabilization, and collaborative treatment planning for clients with complex trauma histories.

I am currently completing an internship with Restoration in Christ Ministries’ Tom Hawkins Memorial Internship Program to receive specialized training and certification in working with individuals impacted by Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), Satanic Ritual Abuse (SRA), and severe, chronic abuse. This advanced training track is dedicated to complex trauma and dissociative disorders and provides structured education in the assessment and treatment of highly dissociative presentations and extreme abuse histories. Through this work, I am deepening my clinical competence in understanding dissociative processes, complex internal systems, and the unique needs of survivors of organized and spiritual abuse.

As the owner and director of Unmoored Counseling Collective, I provide clinical supervision and consultation to associate and licensed therapists who are working with survivors of severe, developmental, and complex trauma, including those with significant dissociation and organized abuse histories. I am committed to mentoring clinicians in trauma‑informed, ethically grounded care that honors the dignity, agency, and pace of each survivor. In supervision, I emphasize safety, informed consent, systems awareness, and the importance of integrating somatic and nervous‑system‑based approaches into work with this demographic.

My clinical interests include working with individuals who have experienced prolonged childhood abuse, spiritual and ritualized abuse, organized exploitation, and who present with fragmentation of self‑experience, memory disturbance, and identity disruption. I strive to create a therapeutic environment where complex trauma and dissociation can be named clearly and worked with carefully, without pathologizing the person. Across both clinical work and supervision, my aim is to offer attuned, thorough, and clinically rigorous care to those whose stories have often been dismissed, disbelieved, or misunderstood, while partnering with them in a process of stabilization, integration, and meaningful healing.
