Madison Vislocky

M.Ed./Ed.S, LPC

Madison sees clients in the Greenville location.

Madison wants to welcome you to this space, and thank you for taking the time to read this. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with UnMoored Counseling. She holds a Master’s in Education/Education Specialist (M.Ed./Ed.S) degree from Clemson University in 2020. Madison has experience working with foster care systems, inpatient, outpatient, and crisis management hospitals – clients of various stability and needs. She enjoys counseling diverse populations, providing education, and trauma work – helping all people - within her scope of practice and ethical guidelines - feel seen, safe, heard, and validated.

Madison will primarily incorporate a straightforward approach in the room, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy influenced (DBT), and Mindfulness/Body centered approaches. Additionally, Madison integrates a big personality, and healthy doses of humor in her sessions. Madison doesn’t believe therapy is a one-size fits all, and tailors sessions together to address challenges unique to you.

When Madison isn’t in sessions, she is likely with her partner or family, enjoying quiet time at home, attempting to stay active with crossfit/weights/hiking, walking her dog, eating food, listening to audiobooks or podcasts, but mostly attempting to just be present with life.
