Melissa has a counseling approach based on passion and dedication and is focused toward empowering individuals to navigate life’s challenges. She holds Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with a minor in Business Administration from SUNY Oswego. Melissa pursued a Master's in Counselor Education for School Counseling at SUNY Brockport, and obtained a Certification of Advanced Study in Mental Health Counseling from Medaille University, fostering a deep understanding of mental health complexities.

Melissa embraces a humanistic, person-centered approach. Her counseling style integrates elements from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques. Melissa aims to guide individuals toward gaining profound insights, self-empowerment, and enhancing their sense of self-efficacy.
